Is thier requirments for turing in your cans for cash?

i know that you can turn in your cans and bottles for cash at your local recycle place, But do they have requirements such as, no bottle lids, or no paper on the outside of the bottle, or do you just turn them in as is? Thanks

Pretty much just bring them in.  Aluminum cans usually are put into a container that they have that they can see through it making sure all is aluminum cans.   Other metals they just put into another type of container and weigh it..

Make sure you watch the scale and the weight that shows as they tend to write down a lower number.. I have had them do this twice before I caught on and being only a 1 ot 2 lbs is small but 1 or 2 lbs of aluminum cans adds up...

If you are turning in Copper Wiring you must have a drivers license and usually a check is sent to you now.  If they don't require this info becareful as it is now a law do to the amount of copper wiring being stolen these days.  Also, if they dont ask then I be skeptical of the business I am turning my stuff into and probably go somewhere else that is legit..

I think you can just go and turn them in as they are.  I've never heard of requirements...
