Is thinking this wrong?

I think that if you don't regulary vist/talk with someone that you shouldn't make such a big deal when they are sick in the hospital.. The reason I ask this is because I work at a nursing home.. and it seems ppl don't rush right oever until someone is dieing.. I mean I feel that if I was stuck in a hosptial bed it not gonna make me anymore interesting as before..

They wish that theyed spent more time with the person when they had the chance.
