I'm thinking of getting it. Any experience with millet or comments? I know leupold is the "best" etc, but for 400 I get a lot more goodies with this and the wider magnification range I want, and a bigger objective for better light gathering.

Any help with millet scopes will be appreciated!

  1. That scope will last a lot longer on a very low recoil rifle or a 22 LR. Millet are economy scopes. There are much better choices.

What would a Leupold or Burris cost with "all the goodies"?

Yes, more magnification.... Wouldn't you like clear optics and non-wondering zero.

Leupold and Burris are still proudly made in the USA.

  2. G'Day mate millet is c**p mate go 4 a Burris with a posi lock better clarity steel on steel 14 pound spring in stead of a 7 pound spring what most scopes have. Also posi lock you can tighten it so if you drop yr gun it wont loose it's zero get with ballistic plex.I've  got one ill never look at another scope again i love them, you get a better scope than  what you pay for and it can stand the recoil of the big kickers. When you get one with posi lock you don't have to use it  it has a 14 pound spring also.Burris has better optic's than leupold. cheers mate

  3. As with all scopes, you need to decide where you are going to compromise in the price range you can afford.  That specific Millett has some nice features but comes up a little short in the clarity feature.   I would say that it is definitely not at the level of a VX-II and rate it a bit lower than the Konus M30.

I don't have any experience with the more expensive Mittett offerings which may offer better clarity.
