  1. Well let me tell you boy, have you ever been in a war, have you ever seen death, people men woman and children dieing or have you ever killed someone?Well as far as i am concerned the death of a dog is nothing compared to death of people.so next time you have something to say make sure you experience it before you blurt out like a idiot!!

  2. yahoo is not "free" and this question will most likely be deleted for your use of the word "b*****d"

  3. Yup, I have had questions and answers complained about and removed.

In this free country of ours, people think they are protected from being offended. The sad truth is, they are!

    I hate it!!!!

  4. Yes that's essentially right.  You have apparently offended somebody's fragile little mind.   I would however, save my opinion about the deletion of your question until I know what exactly you actually said.  Talking about U.S. soldiers gets people all fired up whether it's good or bad and they form opinions not always based on the content of the question.  Wording means everything.  You should know by now most people can't take criticism.  Most people can't read and form an intelligent opinion about what they just read.   And this is America where if you don't like it you just whine and cry like 3 year old with a cut on her knee and mommy censorship will take the ouchies away.

  5. Censorship in America is again reaching 1950s levels.

We have taken away our own right to Freedom of Speech, which is one of the most precious freedoms we have.

What people forget, what people need to relearn, is

    (1) that we have the right to DISAGREE.  I can disagree with what you say. I can tell you I disagree with you.  We can have a debate over it.

    (2) You can censor things by closing your eyes - that way you don't have to see what you don't want to see, and those who do are not prevented from seeing it

    (3) If we don't allow people to speak their minds, we won't know what's ON their minds! Considering what happens to perpetually frustrated minds, I'd personally rather know.

And to the person who said that the killing of people is far worse than the killing of a puppy - ok, granted.  But the malice and cruelty indicated by a person willing to (and amused!) throw a puppy off a cliff,  tell me that I do not want that person out in the world representing my country.  I worry that I person that conscienceless might do something similar to an innocent civilian - a child, a woman....

Many warlike cultures in the past had strict codes of honor by which their warriors were supposed to live.  A warrior who broke that code of honor was forever disgraced - up to being expected to commit suicide.  I want to believe that OUR warriors also have a code of honor, and I would LOVE to believe that that Code protects all innocent life from wanton cruelty and painful death.

  6. They were Marines

I'm just saying: Get it right!
