A disgruntled Lloyd's Bank customer chose 'Lloyd's is pants' as his telephone banking password and found that it had been changed by someone at Lloyd's without his knowledge. They then refused to let him use 'Lloyd's is rubbish' or 'Barclays is better'.

  4. Its company loyalty policy - at its worst/best! The man was disgruntled, he could have at least had hte option to choose his own pw to let off some steam.

  5. I thought all passwords were encrypted so the bank employees weren't able to know them. This makes it obvious that they are not. So this means no real security, plenty of censorship and strictly no banter.  What he really should have used is "all banks are rubbish"

  10. Obviously it's censorship. It is unethical, but I suppose not illegal. Besides, when were ethics ever a concern for a bank or insurance company?
