No , not at all . It is a very serious matter , which is increasing rapidly at a very high speed . Ozone layer is diminishing at a high speed  and now it is becoming extremely cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer . The ice is melting very fast with out any break . Before , many people thought that it is temporary , but now they have come to know that it is a serious matter which is not ending , rather , increasing . The scientists have not yet found any solution to stop the ozone layer of being diminished .

The graph clearly shows that 1999 and 2000 were cooling years, 2001 to 2006 were stable and 2007 another cooling year. This has happened despite the continued increase in fossil fuel use, and indicates that the role of CO2 in our climate has been considerably over estimated, as well as man's contribution to it.

Carbon dioxide does have an effect, but it is not the main driving force, it is just one factor in many.

To those who mention ozone - Don't forget It is also a powerful greenhouse gas.

In some respaects yes, as when you think about themillions of years the earth has been alive and how many times the climate has changed worse then this, it is a bit silly. Weve had a heat rise three times hotter than this and the world and us have still survived.

Yet again it is true that the heat rise is causing the ice to melt and we have never had as much ice as we do now so....... both reasons are valid in some respects

whichever it may be, what comeswill come we can try to prevent it but if its inevitable then thats the way it is. Just enjoy life that is my motto :)

Yes it is, and it was in 1920's 1930's 1940's, but wasn't talked about much in the years of WW1 and WW2, guess people had real issues to solve like killing n***s.

look at it this way: scientists are saying that it's real, others are saying that is c**p. people say there's aliens in outer space - astronauts and scientists say otherwise. why would they keep one thing from us but make up another? i think Global Warming is real, but really, you need to make it up for yourself, and anyway, using energy saving light bulbs and stuff must help our planet. think about it... scientists have information on it, the people that say that its not true either don't want to believe it and are scared of facing the truth or they don't watch the news.

In Boston we have global raining.

It's weird weather but it's nothing like the weird weather they told us we'd get.

They said "Boston will have the climate of Atlanta."

We had the climate of DC for a few years.

The last few years Boston had the climate of.... Boston.

This year Boston has the climate of Seattle.

If from the beginning they'd just said "this is too much CO2, we don't know enough about the climate to tell you what's going to happen, but something's going to happen and it probably won't be good," then I'd be more inclined to believe them.

But that's not what they said.

And I'm sick of "the ice caps are melting" - - - the arctic ice cap used to cover Boston with a half mile thick sheet of ice.

yes, however, only the part about the global climate change being caused by man...change happens, sometimes it gets warmer, sometimes it gets cooler...personally, I would welcome the changes that the far left envirocrats are predicting-the weather changes would be similar to what the climate was during the 10 and 11 century, the earth was much more productive than it is now, the desert southwest was much less arid, and yearly rainfalls were in the 30 to 50 inches per year, the area was fertile enough to support very large populations of indigenous peoples, such as what we call the Anasazi, and central and south america saw population explosions illustrated by the growth of the Mayan, Aztec,and Toltec peoples...bring it on!!! ps, the polar bears will be just fine..or not, it doesn't matter-species come and go on a regular basis.!

It is a fact that the Earth is warming up and has been doing so since the last ice age, it is a natural climate change, obviously, gasses that we emit do not help matters but the biggest cause by far is the gasses that cattle emit because of what they eat, the blame is put onto us using fossil fuels and this is done solely for the purpose of making money from it, we have known about the Earth warming up for many years now, if cars that have high emissions really were the cause, they would have stopped making them about ten years ago but in the UK, they are still being imported and if you are wealthy enough to have one it is OK to use it regardless of the emissions, the extra road tax that is going to be put on cars like the Mondeo will not remove them from the road but it will raise a lot of revenue for the government.

Personally, I think people are just making up more excuses to tax us! I believe it is a natural process that the Earth is going through, kind of like the ice age but a different sort of age. Of course, we aren't exactly helping, filling the air with all sorts of rubbish! But I believe we are making a big deal of a natural process. Nope...studies show that temperatures are indeed going up.  If you looked at the studies of the polar ice caps, they are slowing melting away.

You should watch the movie about global warming made by Al Gore.
