I just bought this card and the guy who sold it to me told me it was a rookie. It doesn't say rookie card anywhere on it, but I figured he knew what he was talking about. The more research I do the less I think it is a rookie card. Please let me know if you know the answer.

  1. look on the back and see if h\it has his stats from last year

If it does it's not a rookie

    I don't think it is a rookie

  2. Listen, im an expert on Topps Trading Cards and this isn't a rookie card.  It was produced the year after Hanley Ramirez played his rookie year.  The gold little trophy thing u see on the uppoer right hand corner proves it isnt.  All 2nd year outstanding sophmores get one of those trophies.  Rookie cards from Topps will have a mark on on the front saying "Rookie Card".  This is a 2nd year Hanley Ramirez card.  If u can get ur money back i recommend you do so and smack some sense into the seller.  I hate it when ppl lie about a card's value.

  3. i think that little gold trophy in the top right hand corner usually says something about rookie card on it

  4. it does day "ROOKIE OF THE YEAR" on the front so i think it is

  5. what year was it made?

  6. I dont think it is cause it says Rookie Of The Year on it which means he played the season before and since he played the season before he must have had a rookie card in that season
