  1. No, no online IQ tests are accurate.  Anyone can write an IQ test and claim it's whatever they want it to be, and that's why there are so many online IQ tests and none of them agree with each other.  If you want your official score, take the official, proctored exam.  You can't do that online.  Online tests are just for fun, and tend to give very inflated scores - they're trying to sell you something, after all.

  2. not correct, once you take a test under that form it does not count because your mind is already in that set.  You should probably see a doctor.  You may have syphilis.   No seriously they are BS a doctor is the only one that can give you the test.

  3. if you take the same test again your score significantly increases. unless you are an idiot.  3 months later is nothing.

  4. Online IQ tests are not reliable.  That's all there is to it.  Plus, I'm pretty sure they inflate scores to make you feel smart so you pay for whatever the "additional report" is.  I've never heard of anyone getting below about a 110 on an online IQ test, which doesn't make sense because the average is supposed to be 100.

  5. Online tests are a good way to compare intelligence and the tests are similar in structure to what a real test is like, but the tests are not thorough and the results I suspect are very skewed to boost people's confidence. In other words, they are more just for fun and should not be used as a measure of intelligence. The real way an IQ test is supposed to measure intelligence is by standard deviation and statistics. The average should be at 100, and a common standard deviation of 15 would mean the following with a IQ result of 140 (which you say you got): If you took a random sampling of 261 people, you would be the smartest out of ALL of them. You seem like a smart gal, but I highly doubt this is the case. The majority of people lie within the 90-110 range I'm guessing. A score of 120 would mean you are smart, and anything in the 130 to 140 range would be genius material. I would imagine a decent college professor to be in the 130 range. This is just to give you an idea of how a REAL IQ test should measure intelligence. I've heard people online quote results up to 160, and this result would be extremely rare, like 1 in 31,560. That would mean if you lived in a small town, you would be the smartest person in the whole town! I'm not saying it can't happen, but I'm skeptical when people quote IQ results online because of what they are basically saying. If you want to see a chart online that shows how IQ results should be interpreted, go to http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/IQtable....

The rarity for the standard deviation of 15 will give you an idea of how many people share your same IQ results.
