Wasn't world war 1 started in the Balkans too?

Why are we backing this pissant muslim nation anyways? Serbia was more of an ally historically than the n**i-loving Muslims in that region, right?

We spent over a billion dollars building camp Bondsteel there in the last 6 years.  This is the first major overseas military base we have built since the vietnam war.   Do a search on AMBO pipeline.  an Independent Kosovo was part of the deal for AMBO financing approval and to get Albania to agree to participate  to termiante the pipeline in the deep water port of vlore.

The pipeline will transport oil from the caspian for tankers bound for the US and wesgtern Europe.

Serbia was indeed USA allied in both world wars and during the "Cold War".

It is still not clear to me why USA supports Albanians.

Kosovo was not a republic in former Yugoslavia and it was never a country.

It was always part of Serbia, unless occupied by the Turks and n**i Greater Albania.

Western foreign policy towards Serbia is on AutoPilot or Cruise Control.

Virtualy, there is no diverence in their actions, since the time of SLobodan Milosevich.

On Serbian side is hisroty, moral and internationa law.

And yes, Russia and CHina.

And the internationa law too, reflected in the UN resolution 1244.

Resolution annuls any act or moves by the provisional authorities in Kosovo and Metohija to unilaterally declare independence as a violation of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, fixed by the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, the UN Charter, UN Security Council Resolution 1244 as of 1999, other UN Security Council resolutions as well as by international law.

Kosovo issue is now last stand for Russia, to show of it is still alive.

This problem can defenetly re-vamp bad relations between Russia and the USA.
