My friend online (Don't worry, I fully trust him, I know he keeps his word) is selling a mac mini to me I need to know if its a good deal.

Here are the specs:

The Mac mini is 1.33 GHZ 1 GB Of Ram, 40 GB Hard Drive, Mac OS X Leopard, Bluetooth, Wifi, CD-RW, DVD Drive, It will also come with a 3rd Party Remote for Front Row, (since remotes are only on Intel Macs) It will come with the power brick and cord. 2 USB 1 Ethernet 1 Modem and yeah...

--What he typed in

He is also gonna throw in a KVM switch for $50

he is asking for $275 for the mac mini, with the kvm switch

$325

I know he keeps up with the cleanliness of all his computers and devices. He only used it to stream live on ustream.tv

  1. You can get a newer/faster mac mini for $600 and a new kvm switch for less than $50..

I would offer $250 for it and not get the kvm.

  2. The price is slightly high, but yeah it's not a bad deal. It's an older low end model. About four years old. So just don't have really high expectations for it. It might be a bit slow by todays standards, but should be fine for basic things like internet.
