Question:

Is this OK for losing a belly?

I'm 17 years old, 6ft 1 and weigh 12 and a half stone. I'm not fat, in fact, all my friends call me lanky.

However, whenever I sit down I notice I have a bit of a podgy belly. It's not too big, but I would still like to get my stomach totally flat.

I've heard you can't "spot reduce", so I am going to try this, is it OK?:-

Exercise 30-40 minutes on a rowing machine and eliptic trainer 3-4 times a week.

Eat less sweets/fatty foods/in general.

Eat more fruit/veg etc.

Also,

+ The eliptic trainer I have has lots of different 'programs' - I don't know which one I should choose. There is fat burn, weight loss and cardio. Which is best?

+ How long before I start to see results and my stomach flattening?

+ Anything else you recommend?

Thanks so much!

  1. Hello there,

I can personally recommend weight loss hypnosis.

I've used the Rapid Weight Loss Binaural hypnosis program and found the weight literally dropped of me! In a month I lost 14 pounds just by listening to this program daily and what was really weird is I stopped craving sugary foods and started to want to eat healthily!

It really freaked me out when I went out for a pizza - I found myself ordering salad instead of a starter and skipping dessert! My friends were most bemused by it.

What I like about hypnosis is the fact that it works on a subconscious level - I've always struggled with weight loss in the past and found I couldn't stay motivated, but this, oddly enough, works!

Hope that helps you out :)

  2. try this site   www.kadimedia.com.

it had a pretty cool program for building abs and working out the rest of the body x

  3. obviously fat burn is to burn up excess fat and cardio is to build muscle but it sound like you only need exercises to tone up your muscles - I would do whatever one you feel pressure on your stomach area, and for good health east less sweets and eat more veg and fruit but beware of too much fruit as some of it is high in fruit sugars, especially bananas. It should take a few weeks before you see any change and will need to continue it to keep it off.

  4. Everything dounds good but on a show i saw, the best way to get a flatter stomach was to run, doing sit up and rowing didnt help. I would still reccomend doin all the exercize you said but you will need to do some swimming or running and dont forget to do sum weights. You will start noticing maybe in the second week but it would take about 6 weeks to really be able to notice. Every thing sounds really good though.

    Good luck
