ABC interviewed 4 women. 2 democrats 2 republicans and asked them if Palin could have it all. Family, and be VP. The 2 dems said she was slighting her family by having a career, esp. VP. The two republicans said Yes, she could have it all. Given the divorce rate what it is, and the simple fact that many women with families have to work to support them, should a woman be limited to either a family or a career but not both? Is having both only for men? What say you?

  1. Pelosi waiting until her youngest was a senior in high school to run for public office.

Palin finds something better to do 4 months after she chose to bring a special needs child into this world.

    Get the diff?

  2. h**l no! If that were the case, women wouldn't be kicking azz in the service, and doing what a man was considered only being able to do. We also wouldn't have Sarah Palin, a loving human-being, who loves her own child so much, she could never make her life easier by killing it, when he has down's syndrome. Brave, strong woman...she and McCain are true Americans.

God Bless them, and the Troops!

  3. I say some women probably can have it all, but I'm not one of them.  I had to make a choice, children or career.  I have no regrets, and I don't wonder what could have been, but I know now, as I knew when I was young, that there was a price to pay either way.  As for raising children, I believe that men and women have different, equally important roles in a family.  Their roles are designed for the benefit of the husband and the wife, the marriage, and the children.  When marriage works the way it should, it's the most wonderful blessing in the world.  When it doesn't, it's one of the greatest heartaches.  Children are a blessing and a joy, but if you are not committed to making them your life's passion, it's a big mistake for you, for them and for society.  This is what I say.

  4. No, it just for men...Nancy Pelosi is a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 6 and it doesnt matter that her youngest child was finishing high school.  I dont understand what all the fuss is about from the dems...what does it matter to them.  They take care of the little problem before it even takes a breath.

  5. The important thing is to have someone who understands and deals with the trials, tests, tribulations - of not only a family, a community, a state, and a nation, but the common men, women, and children who share in a vision that includes coming to the aide of your country when duty calls, male or female.  I admire her gumption.  Obama's idea of running the country is to slap all those in the face who disagree with his negative, ruthless tactics, and his total lack of character.

  6. Another slogan comes to mind regarding Palin: :sometimes the best man for the job is a WOMAN!"
