Is this Tiger Woods things getting old or what?

Enough is enough! Who is tired of this Tiger Woods thing? No matter what tournament you watch, somehow whether he is playing or not the conversation from the commentators always seems to get to Tiger. I mean OK, the guy is good, but there are other people out there. He is not the only story in the golf world. Even in tournaments where he is like 10+ shots off the lead on the final 9 holes of the Sunday round they still televise him and talk about him. Man that gets old. There are other people on Tour you know. Try telling the story of the guy who's winning for a change. Oh, and when they do win, give the guy credit for winning. Don't ask him about TIger in the post-round interview. Ask him about his round, and his game, not what Tigers been doing in the last week, or about Tigers round. Who agrees with me on this?

Well, he's finally lost a tournament.  Happy!  Grin.  

No, I guess not, because now they will be discussing whether Tiger is in a slump!  Sorry, but Tiger Woods IS golf...no getting around him.  Maybe change sports.

I disagree.  Tiger is not my favorite player, but Tiger IS golf right now. He has been for the past 10 years and will be for the next 10.  He is the best player in the history of the game.  He is worthy of all the attention he gets.  The average golfer does not understand how good this guy is and if anything, he is underrated.  I know that sounds absurd but it is true.  Based on what this guy is doing, I cant believe you could say is getting too much attention.

Dont get defensive. I never assumed you were the average golfer, nor did I imply it in any way.  And the fact is, many many people would rather watch Tiger lose than someone else win.  I am not one of them.  But how often does he play and not stay in contention?  It's rare.

yeah I agree the guy is just to good. And you get tired of hearing his name but he will be one of histories greatest and most amazing players of our time.

I agree completely.  I am sick of Tiger dominating and I have always been tired of his lack of etiquette.  

I definitely think the commentators should stop talking about him.  Ogilvy didn't exactly light it up today, but he still won.  By the way, Tiger didn't even finish 2nd!  Vijay, Goosen and Furyk did.

Maybe the commentators should ask players in the post-round interview what they thought of Vijay's gift?  Vijay shot 73 in the first round and still should have won it today.  He made back-to-back bogeys thanks to poor chip shots.  I think it's the third tournament he's given away this year.
