  1. Not true!  My commander's wife came to his change of command ceremony with black and GREEN hair.  I mean neon green stripes throughout jet back hair.  She didn't get kicked out of the ceremony.  She just got a few shocked looks and she said it made her uncomfortable.  But your hair color is apples and oranges compared to this.

  2. Never heard of that happening, including spiked hair, bright red, ex who came to my Grad at PI in the early 80's.... no problem... alot of looks...

  3. I don't believe that is true, but on the safe side for him color your hair natural when its over color back to what you want.

  4. No, it's not true. They don't care about the hair.

  5. Maybe he just doesn't want you there with your nose up his butt embarrassing him.

  6. Not true!  Maybe you should think about seeing someone who doesn't lie so easily and you shouldn't be so gullible.  It's ridiculous and childish that he should tell you silly c**p like that.  I wouldn't attend the graduation and tell him that I was very disappointed that I couldn't attend because of my hair color and went to a bar and tried out in a wet t-shirt contest and won a case of coors.

    thanks

  7. you should be allowed, are you in america? 'cus in britain im pretty sure they would allow it

  8. You won't be allowed in his barracks regardless. You will be fine with whatever hair color or style you have. You are a civilian and are not subject to the same grooming standards of the military.

  9. the military doesnt care about the style of color of a civilians hair. the military DOES however care about our own grooming standards. so either he lied or he missunderstood his instructors and got civilians and military standards confused. ill bet hes confused and got it mixed up.

  10. Your fiance is full of it, or his DI or TI depending on the service is pulling his chain and your fiance is taking the bait.

  11. It's not true he's just trying to freak you out.

  12. they wont care what your hair looks like. its his graduation. him and his hair need to be up to military standards. if you do get a tour of the barracks they will know you are a civilian, so come in whatever you are gonna wear and stop worrying.

  13. No. You are a civilian, they can't tell you what color hair to have at his graduation.  I have since a Marine wife with bright pink hair on a base.
