Is this Wii channel downloaded?

I recently sent my Nintendo Wii in for repair and just got it back a few days ago. I wanted to use the Check Mii Out channel. It was on my Wii home menu and I was able to use it and to get Mii's from it. My question is is this channel downloaded? I don't remember if I downloaded this channel or not.

The check mii out channel is an extra download.

Yes, you need to download that channel.  Just go to the Wii Shop Channel to download it.  It is free.
