no thats small, my hamsters are smaller than gerbils and they have a way bigger cage than that.

Well it depends on the size of your cage. This is a product that will go inside of a cage; the animals can hide in when they are scared or want to be alone. I don't recommend it if you have one of those critter trail things but if you house your gerbils in a glass tank (I would say 10 gallons or larger) you should be ok. This is also made out of would and gerbils are EXTREMELY good chews so don't be surprised if you wake up to splinters. Don't worry if they do chew on it though, it's made of animal safe wood. To help the chewing, get chew sticks from your local pet store. They come in all different shapes and colors and are cheaper to replace than that house.

I think you should get something a little bit bigger Gerbils get very territorial I have gerbils and they can get very vicious if they feel like they dont have enough space I mean very vicious So the more space the better
