  1. No.

  2. Don't do it McFadden could be better than Lewis, and Lewis is more likely to get hurt, so hold off on the trade untill you feel that McFadden and Forte aren't at their full potential by the end of next season. Even though DeAngelo Williams is an ok RB and Vincent Jackson helps out the QB just wait some time.

  3. I think I'd rather hold on to McFadden and Forte.  Both have a lot of upside going into the season.  They're rookies, but they could have some good value.  I, personally, wouldn't touch Jamal Lewis with a 10 foot pole.  I think his best days are way behind him.  I think the Ravens offense is p**s poor and Jamal Lewis is the same way.  I'd rather gamble of McFadden and Forte than to gamble on DeAngelo Williams and Vincent Jackson.  Lewis will be a bust.

  4. Honestly, your guess will be as good as anyone's.

How many carrries do Forte and McFadden have combined?  0.  Likewise, Jonathan Stewart could be the starter in Carolina.  We just won't know until well into preseason.

This could be the trade of the year, or a complete bust.

Footballguys has the players involved ranked as follows:

    Lewis - #20

    D. Williams - #67

    V. Jackson - #105

    McFadden - #47

    Forte - #54

I would be inclined to keep your running backs and hope that one or both becomes the starter, then look to trade.

  5. I wouldn't do it.  Lewis is older and could get hurt this year.  McFadden and Forte should be main go to guys for their teams.

  6. history shows that the 2 rookie RB's will probably do better than J lew, williams, and jackson... Look at the stats for previous rookies who started right out of the gate like LT, Portis,. Peterson, etc....

  7. I live in Arkansas so I am a huge Darren Mcfadden fan.  He is from my Hometown Little Rock, Arkansas.  That being said I think it is a good trade.  Jamal Lewis and Deangelo Williams are go to running backs, and Vincent Jackson ableit inconsistent has shown flashes.  Oakland plans to break D-Mac in and he will split time with Justin Fargas. Matt Forte will struggle this year.  The bears offensive line is horrible and there are no wide-receivers.  Also with Rex Grossman as QB, all teams are going to be stacking the line against the run.
