  1. With salad

  2. Its definately better cold, with a salad, and some potatoes.  In fact thats what I have for lunch today :-)  And I'm not from Manchester, I'm Scottish.

  3. I've always had flans cold...never hot.  Isn't flan a Mexican dessert?  Made like a custard?

  4. do you mean quiche?  cold quiche is yum

  5. I don't care, I just love the fact that this question is categorised as "ethnic cuisine"!

Anyway I'm off down the shops for an ethnic bacon butty.

  6. whyshould it be a manchester thing?

you can eat them hot or cold.

  7. I'm from Nottingham and quiche is yum hot or cold! :)

  8. Great straight out of the oven and great cold with salad.

For a summer lunch, I prefer them still luke-warm, with a crispy salad and a glass or two of chilled rosé-

I thought a flan was sweet, but what would I know? I'm from the wilds of Cumbria.

However, ethnically I'm 1/4 Welsh, 1/4 Liverpudlian and 1/2 Lancastrian.

So there isn't a category for regional recipes/eating habits, but ethnic is a bit extreme.

  9. Quiche is meant to be eaten cold its a salad accompliment!

  10. flan/quiche same difference you can eat them hot or cold
