  1. Typical democrat response, trying to d**n the republicans regardless of what they do.  If they conduct the convention, they will be dammed for fiddling while New Orleans floods.  If they cancel it and go home, then they will get blasted for not doing anything.  If they use their infrastructure to help raise relief funds, they will be accused of pandering to the public.  With people like Keith Obamaman and Chris (my legs are tingling) Matthews, the liberal media always has someone willing to spin every act against the republicans.

  2. That makes absolutely no sense.  Since when do we put political labels on deadly diseases?  Would a cancer telethon be a Democratic telethon?  I'm totally lost at your ignorance to human suffering.

All this hurricane stuff is repetitive.  If republicans do not care about people then why was it with their support, not that of the democratically controlled congress, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed?

  3. They are no doubt on the offensive because otherwise Obama's campaign would have put out a commercial about people dying in a hurricane while the "rich" Republicans are gathered around enjoying life. They have OUTSMARTED them. And Obama has done something similiar, sending emails to all supporters trying to get them to donate.
