Sunday blessing

by C.S. Scotkin

Sunday morning,

stare out the door,

eyes amazed,

visitor,

unexpected.

You won’t believe

I thought of you

first thing

this morning,

when I awoke.

Come in, come in!

have some coffee.

Tell me

you can stay

forever.

    okay.

  4. Isn't it nice to share a cup of coffee and some good old-fashioned conversation?

    What happened to those days?

    Good morning!

  7. A lovely, welcomed Sunday surprise!   It makes me want to call a friend and have a Sunday visit.  Plenty of coffee, of course.  Coffee goes best with conversation.

  8. Won't George and Gracie get jealous? They are used to having you all to themselves of a Sunday morn. They won't take kindly to a mystery visitor.

  9. Insignificant. Put some work into it.

'Eye of the beholder'? That's a subjective interpretation and, consequently, the statement itself is subjective. Perhaps there really is an objective standard of what is good or bad, otherwise anything goes. Then we have chaos. You can feel you've made it when I give you a positive review.

  10. Very light, w/ full taste & flavor, like a cold breeze in mid summer.I'll give U 10 over 10. Don't stop writing.
