Is this a bad time?

is running a mile in 7:29 bad?

i just turned 13 and im 5' 0

  1. No that's great. If you want to drop time, start running 2-3 miles several days a week, and increase to about 5 days once you feel comfortable with that. Aim for dropping 3-5 seconds every time you run the mile. Also work on sprinting for your kick(the last 200 meters of your race).

  3. I run a mile in 12mins. (I have knee problems). My normal female friends run it in 8-10mins. So I would say that is very very good!

  4. That is a good time :)  When I was in great shape, back in the day, I ran my mile just a few seconds faster than that.

    Just keep it up!  It's easier to maintain that time than to have to work back up to it!
