  1. No, too small. Pet store cages usually are.


  2. No that is WAYY to small! I recently got a cage with those exact measurements for my SYRIAN HAMSTER! Rats need at least 2 cubic feet per rat, and since rats need to be in pairs double that. rats like levels too, don't forget that.

    When looking for a good rat cage, try to find one that would work for ferrets or chinchillas. Height is very important for rats, as they need to climb for exercise. It also must be a wire cage to ensure proper ventilation.

  5. that would be a little cramped but if its a small one and you take him/her out every day and play and exersize it it should be ok.just make sure to take it out every day of it will suffer.
