  1. Sure?

    What rights?

Decode this lyrics " You raised me up"

    Exodus 20.1-3

    leviticus 26.13

Did they all drop off from the coconut trees?

Must had been hit on the head with the Book of the Dead back in the past?

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    What do you think?

  2. This Government selectively applies the Human Rights Law.We should have a proper constitution and become a republic. Our system doesn't fit in the modern world.Get rid of the House of Lords first.Look how Gordy smuggled the Euro bill through the ar$e of parliament without a referendum. They do whatever they want to do.

  3. No, I wouldn't think so.

  4. Yes. Definitely.

  5. No

When is the UK going to join the rest of the civilized world and lose the monarchy?

  6. It certainly could be under,

Article 9 Freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

"1 Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief, in worship, teaching, practice and observance.

2 Freedom to manifest one’s religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others. "

If you have republican views swearing elegance to the head of the British monarchy would be very difficult following 400 years of oppression of the Irish people.

I don't necessarily share those views but I would imagine that's how it would feel if I did.

  7. It is an untested question of law, but it could be.

I cannot think of a specific breach of an article within the 'Act', but Freedom of Expression could be used to challenge such a proposal.

It's never going to happen anyway.

  8. The queen is a symbol of your country,Pledging allegiance to you country is not a violation of human rights.Every country expects there citizens to swear an oath to there country and have different symbols. It`s about being loyal to your country.I had to swear a oath to the Queen when i joined the Canadian Armed Forces and never ever thought of it being against human rights. She is our Queen. We could get rid of the Queen and swear a oath to the Beaver or a Maple leaf, but that just seems weird.

  9. It is just another attempt by the new religion of Human Rightism to force their beliefs on others who love our Queen (long may she reign over us) and country. Human Rightism says, 'Thou shalt have no other gods before Oneself'. It elevates the rights of the individual ego above all other considerations. The child can do what he/she likes because as an individual its rights override all other things. Parents cannot even give them a tiny smack to discipline. Even the ceremonial Oath of Allegiance has not escaped their sights. One wonders what Ms Chakrabarti and her gang will come up with next? The right to remain seated when the National Anthem is played?

  10. Yes. It breaches our right to free expression. An oath to the Queen is, for many people, an abhorrent anachronism.

  11. I believe you have a choice when joining the forces, I think you can give an oath to God and Country, or to your Queen.

  12. MSPs don't have to take the oath.  They can take an alternative one pledging to serve their constituents.

    Sounds like common sense, mmm?
