  1. Yes it is. "Cold" is caused by viruses not by cold. You might consider that you developed allergy?

  4. Yes you can get a cold in summer.

But it sounds more like Heyfever. Or some kind of other allergy.

Drop by your Chemist or Doctor, if really bad, to get some anti-histamines.

  5. You bet you can get a cold in August and they make you feel the worst!!! Colds are usually a viral infection of some sort so you can mostly just treat the symptoms and get tons of rest. Basically you just have to wait them out. On the other hand you could have developed and allergy and the seasons are beginning to change so you could try an allergy medication and see if it takes care of your symptoms. If you aren't running a fever then it is probably just minor and annoying but will get better. If you develop a fever you should see a doctor it could be a sinus infection and the excessive mucus could be causing the sore throat. (If your runny nose mucus is green and not clear you may want to head to a doctor now for antibiotics).

  6. Do you feel bad? If so, its probably a cold.
