Is this a con?

i received a phone call from a recorded message saying ive won a holiday (although i havent entered my name into anything) then it said press 1 for details and i just hung up thinking it was a con and it might charge my bill premium rates, this isnt the first time this has happened and last time i hung up too. has anyone else had these calls?

  4. Do as you did and DO NOT PRESS any digits as this will disconnect and reconnect the call via a premium rate number charging YOU ££££ per minute.

    Simply hang up and sign up for TPS as this will stop (99% effective) some but not all cold calling etc.
