Question:

Is this a crazy trade idea?

I could use an upgrade at TE.

Rudi could be traded which would make Perry the starter. This other guy has S. Young as his # 2...not very solid if you ask me.

I could send him Perry, and maybe O. Daniels (he already has Watson) which would lock down CINs backfield, and give him better options at # 2. In return, I ask for Antonio Gates. He has Voss as a backup TE too.

Fair trade?

  1. Yes, it's crazy.  Unless the other owner is a dimwit, he will not accept this trade offer.  The CIN backfield is a mess and you also have to include Watson in the mix.  Gates is a top 3 TE that performs like a nice WR.

I guess it can't hurt to make the offer.  I've heard wackier things get through.

  2. If i was the other guy I wouldn't accept that trade until Rudi was officially traded otherwise he would get a bad deal.  If Rudi is traded I think that this trade is pretty fair if you give him Daniels because then he'd still have decent TEs even after he trades you Gates.

  3. no, you totally rip him off.  Perry and Rudi stink just as much as selvin does.  O Daniels is solid but not a top 10 TE.  Gates is a 3rd or 4th round pick.  It's totally unfair.

  4. If i were him I wont accept it.  but you never know if he is really deperate for a rb maybe.  just give it a try.

  5. If I'm the guy with Gates that wouldn't do much for me I wouldn't want 3 RB on the same team

  6. I wouldn't even consider it if I were him.
