if you wear it with plain white flats, no jewelry, and natural looking makeup and hair than you will look fine and not too dressed up

It is a very cute dress, but leaning just a bit to formal side. Try to layer it with a few things like some other users suggested.

Skinny jeans and sandals would work well with it, if you want a more casual look, try to wear a light shade of skinny jeans.

If not that option, get a belt that you can put around right over where your waist is and maybe a shrug. A shirt under the dress or even leggings could also make the outfit more casual.

A littttle too much, but it's WAY CUTE and you'll stand out for sure, in a good way! if you like to be unique and stand out and be different, i say go for it! Why be like everyone else and you'll still look VERY cute.

it's really cute!! :) wearing it for the first day might be a bit much. actually, i think if you paired it with dark blue skinny jeans and gold sandals it would look pretty good... unless you just wanna save it for like a dance or party. i dunno, just go for it if you really do like it because it's a fabulous dress. xox good luck the first day!  <3ciaoo!
