Is this a cute name for a girl?

My original name is Danielle, but my friends and family call me Dani Vonne { pronounced Von}. Im going onto college in three weeks and Im wondering if I should go by my original name or my nick name Dani Vonne. Is Dani Vonne a cute nickname for a girl?

I think Dani Vonne is a great name (where did the Vonne come from?)  A lot of college classes are so big it won't matter, you'll just be Danielle anyway- (that's what the roll will say)  But, I think if you are Dani Vonne, you should stay Dani Vonne- it is who you are!

DaniVonne is pretty, but so is Danielle, Danielle sounds more grown up, Dani Vonne sounds like growing up, but can have fun in a minute,its up to you, but there nothing being said that you can't be both! Maybe you could tell people and acquaintances your name is Danielle when you're first meeting them, and then have good friends call you Dani Vonne.

Some professors might find it too "cutesy".  It may be a safer bet to go by Danielle or Dani.  As new college friends get to know you better, they can call you Dani Vonne.

Dani Vonne is a cool nick name. It's creative, catchy, and really easy to remember because it's short, simple yet unique. The only nick name i hear from girls named Danielle is just Dani, and thats so common. But you adding Vonne to it is like adding spice.

What's more YOU? Both are lovely, but convey very different messages. Danielle is a very classic, romantic, mature name, whilst Dani Vonne is cute and girly. Pick the one that suits you best.

Dani Vonne sounds not cute but it sounds more cool it depends on your style I guess because my nickname is Bill and im more rocker style i didnt pick Will because it sounds more Hip-Hop.Dani fits everything Danielle fits more plain like yeah i would say go with Dani =)

i think  you should introudce your self as danielle ,so then it lets them make a new nick name for you ,which will them bring back good memorie when you leave collage and her someone call you that :D

One thing to note, there are lots of professors who read names directly from a chart that has last names first.  So, if you can imagine your name being put in that order and being ok with it, then it is fine.  Also, if Vonne isn't your last name, when they read the name outloud they may drop "Vonne" altogether thinking it is your middle name.  So, just some things to consider.

I like the spelling of Dani--it's pretty and it is easy for someone to understand that you are female.
