Is this a decent beginner's longboard setup?

I'm new the the longboarding scene and am looking for an all around decent board, as I'm not sure how far into I will go. Mostly I will be using it as travel across campus and cruising. I'm about 5'9 and 170lbs.

Deck: Sector9 "Padang"

Trucks: Randal R-II 180mm

Wheels: 70mm 78a

Bearings: DBS Abec7

Should I opt to get bearing spacers as well, or not?

  1. If I were you I would get the "Losness 40" by GFH.  It's a sick board, perfect for just cruising around and chillin.  Also, I would get 80 mm Gumball wheels, they're dank as h**l and would be great for cruisin around campus

  2. theres a "longboarding scene" ??

anyways yeah that sounds good anything above 70mm wheels cruises just fine and the abec7 bearing will fly. ive always had gull wing trucks but its not like your gonna be grinding **** it wont matter..

    peace
