Is this a decent electric guitar?

I dont' know much about guitars and what specs are good etc.

Are there any guitars that you can recommend around £50-£200?

i do not reccommend any other than that... that is a beautiful guitar and can handle anything u want to play...

Angus Young played on that kind of guitar! and he is one of the best.

Yes, its a decent guitar, but its not a suitable one for beginners. It has a very heavy neck, which makes it a little unbalanced and uncomfortable for those who dont play high on the neck.

However, some good guitars in that price range are:

the Laguna LE322

any Ibanez from the RG series

the cheaper gibson Les Pauls

the Cheaper Fender Stratocasters

any Dean guitar

any guitar from the schecter diamond series(especially the hellraiser and the Damien)

or, if you're a heavy metal kind of guy, take up a B. C. rich warlock(the body shape is a little akward on those, though...)

just go into a store and play some of them. dont buy one unless it feels good in your hands.
