Is this a fair trade for my football fantasy team?

i give:

Eli Manning, Kevin Boss, Lee Evans, Morris Maurice

i get:

McNabb, Owen Daniels, Michael Turner, Darrel Jackson

this is the reasoning i gave:

eli was the 68th pick in our draft, mcnabb was 70th.. im gonna give u a good improvement in backup TE with Boss (shockey is gone)... im sure u know that maurice will now be co-starter for seahawks so his value is somewhat same as julius jones... and turner's value had dropped alot since him and jerious will be sharing 50-50 most likely. and im giving u lee evans which is a major boost (he is in a contract year as well)

is this a fair trade or is it unbalanced?

he said he would accept it but im wondering if the league would approve it

  1. It's a fair trade but IMO I would keep what you have.

  2. why would the league not approve? Youre trading scrubs for more scrubs.

  3. There is no reason to vote against this trade. Boss will have to improve his blocking, ot TE will be a shared spot on the Giants.

McNabb has been going about 20 picks above Manning in ESPN drafts so far this year, but draft position isn't all that meaningful - performance is. There's a health risk you're assuming with McNabb. The Eagles didn't get the top WR either that would have clearly boosted McNabb's value. If the Eagles can get Boldin (e.g., for Sheppard), the potential for McNabb goes up more.

  4. Honestly, I would keep what you have over that. Let  break it down.....

Manning is the more durable QB and QB is a spot you absolutely need durability. Boss should have a better season with NYG since Manning uses TEs as a saffety net quite often. Turner is the better option over Lee, but the difference between Turner and Evans is clouded by Darrel Jackson in this trade. Jackson has brick hands and fell off the planet the last two years. Mo Morris could also shine with less pressure and no big play WRs (He's a good receiving RB) Hope this helped.

  5. If he accepted that trade he is a sucker.

When McNabb is healthy he is 10 times the QB Manning is.

Just because Manning was in the Super Bowl last season doesn't automatically make him some great QB. He only had 23 TDs last season with 20 INTs. He is average at best.

If McNabb's knees and shoulder are 100% he will be one of the top 5 QBs in the league, and I hate the Eagles. lol.

I don't understand why everyone is scrambling after Boss as TE. He hasn't proven anything on the field. He only started 2 games last season when Shockey was hurt. But everyone wants to grab him and put him in their starting lineup. It's just stupid.

Daniels is a proven starter at TE and caught 768 yards last season. He may have had only 3 TDs, but at least you know he is going to be the starter and is capable of handling that, where Boss is just a gamble.

I'm not so sure Morris is going to be a 50/50 back with Jones in Seattle. I think the Seahawks are looking for Jones to start and if he performs good in training camp, I fully expect Morris to be the back up RB.

Turner is going to start in Atlanta, not a doubt in my mind. He is hungry for the starting position and will get the majority of the carries.

Evans for Jackson is the only area you may come out behind.

Jackson only caught almost 500 yards last season, but Evans only had 849.

They both play on terrible offensive teams, so it really is pretty even between them.

I think you came out way ahead on that trade.

I hope the league approves it for your sake.
