Is this a fatal or problemattic overdose? ?

My friend is an idiot and took 4 vicodin ( generic ), along with like 5 or 6 tylenol quick release pills ( 500mg a piece ) in an attempt to get rid of pains, which the doctors havent explained to her yet. ... do we need to go to the hospital?

500mg is a high dosage just as one pill get to the hospital as soon as possible even if your friend feels alright

Yes, go to the hospital to be on the safe side. Even if she's not feeling unwell there could be damage happening. Don't try to make her sick because it won't help at this stage, just take her to A&E and bring the packet that contained the pills she took with you.
