Is this a form of dyslexia or other learning impairment?

My friend's daughter has been slow to learn her letters. When she took her in for an eye exam, something really strange happened. They covered her left eye and she read from left to right, but when they covered her right eye, she read from right to left. They didn't have a clear answer to why that happened.

  1. man some people are so RUDE! if you aren't going to say something nice then don't answer the q! To me it does sound like dyslexia, you can do little tests yourself to help further the interest. Like take letters that look the same and have her point out the one you say like d, b. things like that. She could have a learning disability and is important to find out in order to help her in school.

  2. Dana is horrible. I hope someone tells YOUR kid this, if anyone is crazy enough to get you pregnant.

The child with the eye problems - the doctors that didn't have a reason why this happened should have informed the parents of another doctor to go to.

A specialist such as developmental opthamologist, etc

This is not dyslexia or a learning impairment in itself , but this eye problem can CAUSE the child to have dyslexia and learning problems.

  3. Wow!
