Hello, I was just wondering if Beaconsfield, Bucks was a good place to live?

Is it quiet, picturesque etc. ?

Hi. Beaconsfield is very nice, although a bit busy as its just off the m40.Surrounded by places like Amersham, Chesham and beautiful little villages.Reasonably close to London with good rail links.

Downside; It costs an arm and 2 legs to buy property. Cheapest option..Get a caravan and a tatty transit van and park in a layby. The local population are extremely friendly to people who take this option, and it also gives you the chance to explore places like Gerrards cross,and Chalfont st.Giles.
