Is this a good 24" Boys Mountain Bike? (PICS!)?

It's full suspension, I think, and I'm wondering if this bike will go okay on streets ? Cause Imma use it to go to school.

I bought it at $150. Is it a good deal?

For $150 you should have bought a hard tail bike instead.

Sorry, but it's too cheap. All that gadgetry for that little money is something that's bound to break early. You will personally be happier just returning it and getting one from the local bike store.

Why? Because they can get the right size for your child, with good parts, and be more reliable. Simpler is almost always better since there is less to break, especially for a young boy. It will be lighter.

The bad: it will probably cost you $50-100 more. But one tuneup of that cheap bike will quickly eat up the difference.

The best and cheapest suspension is the large volume tire. By simply adjusting the pressure in the tire you can dramatically affect how the bike rides.

Its going to be heavy, and I wouldn't recommend using it off road at all. But it should be okay to ride on streets for a while

Hmm.. it seems as if it is too heavy with the full suspension and the many many bars. And looking at the price, they wont be aliminium frames. Certainly not a bike to go off-roading on as it is way too heavy to manouevre, but certainly, a decent enough bike for just general use around town.

May i reccommend your next bike to be a front suspension no v-frame?

They are the best bikes as they are lighter and can handle off-road situations

But yes, good bike for the price, just don't expect it to perform that well.
