Is this a good acoustic guitar?

I am taking guitar class[beginner]

It will be my first time playing guitar

I play bass.

and i dont think my parents would want to spend a lot of money..

and i am planing to continue to play guitar.

is it a good guitar for beginner?

and how can i tell my parents about buying the guitar.

I am just scared of them with buying things.

It looks like a decent guitar.  If its made by Gibson it's probably OK.

Keep in mind you're bidding in an Ebay auction, watch the price over the next 4 days.

If I were following this auction I might  go up to $250 for it, although I really don't recommend buying instruments online sight unseen.  If you can get it for less, you'll have gotten a good deal.   Its pretty sure you won't get it for the current bid of $17!

hey, i don't like how that ebay seller used the word GIBSON in the description. it's a Maestro guitar. I've never heard of the brand, but i'd advise you to get one you can try in a store first, then buy. good luck to you either road you choose.

hello. I just  'observed' your proposed guitar, it looks great and has a good price. The Yamaha I bought years ago, although good, cost more than this. If this is the going price, take it and have it as yours! good luck, learn easier tunes first, don't voice any complaints. good luck. : }
