well they probably think its fair but you got paid about 3 dollars the hour way below the CA minimum wage of 6  so yeah you could have gotten more, but if you charge too much then they probably wouldn't have hired you.

No, You should have charged 10 bucks an hour= 100 dollars.

You are being paid below medium wage If the kid's parents think that you don't deserve the money because your not old enough to have a real job, you can have one 3 years from now-close enough, if they trust you with their kid, then they need to pay you for it. They should be paying you at least $5-7 dollars an hour or no deal, you are getting gypped.

Bad.  You should make about 6 bucks per hour as a babysitter (under the table).
