Is this a good box / amp for my 12" MTX 9500 ?

I have one 12" mtx 9500 in a 1.0 ft cubic box if not a little bigger, and a power acoustik 1800 watt class d amp bridged but is at 1300 watts now. do you think this will be a good box? http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1786260/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046/order/desc/order_by/sell_price

and do you think i should bridge my amp to 1800 watts??

  1. this is a great box it is recommended that you should have at least 1.0 ft cubic box for a 12" sub any ting under and you lose bass.

    your that box has 3.06 Cu. Ft and MTX recommends 1-1.5Cu.Ft. for a sealed box and 1.75Cu.Ft. for a ported box---- its too big
