  1. You'll porbably be nervous. I've been running for over 20 years and still get butterfiles before a race.

You'll know as you become more experience what to eat. East light, and snack here and there. No Juice or milk, you'll get cramps or the runs. Oatmeal, peanut butter on bread os ok, fruits are good (not orange juice, lemonaid or pineapple.)

You can eat about 2 hours before a race. Snacks (fruit) up to about 30 minutes before. Just don't eat until your fool. You'll feel the hunger ease up and know when to stop.

  2. I'd recommend a bagel and toast with some orange juice. Also try to finish with the same pace you started with on the mile.

  3. PB and bananas is great or PB and honey. Just one sandwich with OJ and coffee.  Eat 60-90 minutes before you run, drink water up to 30 minutes before you run. 5k isn't that far so unless it's really blazing out you don't have to worry about dehydration ( drink well tonight), Pace yourself, go out slow and try to build speed slowly through the run

    Good Luck.

  4. eat at least two hours before, and bananas help prevent cramps

7-8 am. and don't drink sodas or anything too sugary either
