Is this a good buy on an 01 Raptor 660?

Im lookin into buyin this 01 yamaha Raptor 660 for $2000. its in good shape, but needs rear wheel bearings and choke cable because it idles high when warmed up. around $100 total. has a good amount of hours, around 300.

Im sellin my honda right now to maybe buy this, i thinks its a legit deal, the guy needs the money. so tell me what you guys think. thanks!

That sounds like a fair price; about what I got when I sold mine. I've heard about a lot of 2001 Raptors having problems with starter clutches and transmissions. I didn't have a transmission problem, but my starter clutch was starting to go bad when I sold it.

I don't know everything about four wheelers but my friends do tell me they buy 660 Raptors and fix them up for cheap. Most of the time when a person sells a four wheeler it is a legit deal but the best thing to do is to always look around and find a better value. However I have to say 2k isn't bad to put on a Raptor. Also it shouldn't cost more than $200 to fix the problems on the four wheeler if you find a good shop.
