I don;t know much about camera's but photography, I'm really interested in. I'm 13 is this a good camera? If not, can you give me a link to a good one? Thnx so much, best answer 10 points:D

I've had good luck with my Kodak digital camera. I've found it easy to use. The price is good for what you get.

I like the first answer. The optical zoom is the most important, and it is only 3X. Using the digital zoom cuts down the number of pixels (quality) of the picture. You will need to buy a memory card for an extra $35 or so, but that will be necessary for any camera. They don't come with much built-in picture storage.

It looks like a decent consumer level camera. It appears to lack any manual functions, but that unfortunately is becoming far more common on consumer cameras.

I worked retail for 5 years .. Kodak arent the best but it will do the job for point and shoot snaps. Is very compact but doesnt have a big zoom, so the things your taking photos of will have to be pretty close (to get a full frame photo). I think Canon are the best brand of camera around, check out the IXUS series if you dont mind spending a bit more for better picture quality.

yes providing your going to be relatively close to your subjects it has nearly no zoom to speak of. the rest of the specs look nice . this is a suitable one for your age group it is a nice starter camera
