  1. The Altima looks better but usually people worry about the gas nowadays so you got to pick what you can afford. I think you can compare prices and conditions using Kelly Blue Book  (www.kbb.com)

    Hope that helps.

  2. Altima is great car but

    60K in 3 years is a lot of miles, avg is more like 36 to 45,000

    both are reliable but I'd pay the $100 to have the Altima inspected b4 buying it.

  3. I myself own two altimas!

    a 98 and a 04(2.5)

    from my personal experience i am surprised at the fact that the 04 has actually had more problems then the 98 and yes I bought them both new.

    reliability has slightly declined in newer cars(an 02-06 used review actully states this) I thought you would find said review helpful;

    from my point of view there is torque steer and the wheel base feels long.but on the other hand it brakes well and lt

    has the best d**n acelleration ever in a four banger and I assume the 3.5 is a rocketship!!!(never driven one though)

    so it really depends what your needs are,if you want a larger car get an altima or mabey an accord,camry or even a taurus

    otherwise get the civic(also an excellent car!)

  4. The Altima is a good car,at 60,000. How long it last is up to you.If you follow the maintenance schedule,it will last 150,000 or more.Honda civic is also a good car, but I think the Altima has more class.

  5. I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://carquotes.imess.net

    I would prefer Honda.

  6. civics are a smaller car witch may mean better with fuel .

    all foriegn cars are good about lasting for years
