Is this a good color scheme for a dorm room for a girl?

I am starting college next month and I was wondering whether an earthy color scheme would be suitable for a girl. I will be using a lot of green, browns, tan, and blue tones for my bedding and miscellaneous accessories. I am trying to avoid pink and purple at all costs because I am not girly like that. Please help. Thanks.

Absolutely. Down to earth kind of gal, respectful of our natures colors - maybe add in your schools' colors as accents. Perhaps a little fleur de lis and/or wrought iron S's and some dry flower arrangements and your good to go. Shows your a girl without the pinks and purples! Good luck at school. LT

Love your comforter and color scheme..much more relaxing for a bedroom than pink and purple or the ever-popular and overused zebra print! UGGGHH

I LOVE your choice!  I was going to recommend a light blue and chocolate brown but that set is very nice!  I think it's very suitable....
