Impedance: Dual 4 ohms

running at 1 ohm on a Hifonics BXi 1608D

1 ohm: 1600 watts x 1 chan

lol dude, never look at the max/peak power. only the RMS watts.

what u did was look at the peak power of the subs, and the rms power of the amp. these are 2 completely different things.

you will be over powering the subs and will blow up.

get an amp that will do 1000 watts Rms x 1 channel.

that will be a perfect match for those 2 Type-R's

if thats 1600 watts x 1 channel rms then you will over power your subs even if you wire it to 1 ohm (not good you will shortne the life of the sub and possibly blow them), if it is peak then yea it should be pretty good (probably a little under power your subs but should be close), i havent used hifonics products before but i hear good things about it
