Is this a good computer for a 12 year old girl?

Personally i wouldn't get my 12 yo a computer, that's too young. Here's a tip for future reference: the more expensive it is the more fancier the features are.

yes it is as long as you get her Microsoft's products like word so she can type up information and stuff. Youtube is not a learning source it is somewhere where you can play video clips and myspace is a place where thousands of people have things to share on the web.

It's cute, but 12 is kinda young to own your own computer. I didn't get my very own computer until I was 16-17ish.

Hey! Some of my friends have that laptop. It's not the best laptop, but it's pretty good. It has all good stuff, it's good for a first laptop.

I got my first laptop like a month ago when i was 11 but i just turned 12 last week. But mines isnt pink {sadly} i guess i have to go to skins .but its soo cute though thats what i use my computer for  hope you get and and your soo lucky to have a pink laptop

Dells are generally not long lasting, but everyone in my family has Dell laptops.  My sister has a pink Dell Inspiron and my brother has a blue one, but theirs were $2,000 instead of $600.  My sister had hers for 5 months and the screen broke, we had to order a new one and get a repairman to come over.  Warranties really help.

well if it wasn't pink I'd like it for myself... but yes it would be a good computer, you could probably go for less even, but if you really like said 12 year old then ... yea that'd work

yeah, btw, gaming laptops are money grabbers. its around $1k for a decent gaming laptop.

yes but make sure you install a virus protecter because it can be very slow.

Yes,

It is a nice color for a 12 year old girl.

It has moderate sized hardrive.

It has a fairly decent processor speed.

It also has a moderate amount of memory.

It's not too large.

I would be pleased if my parents had gotten me one of those at that age!
