Question:

Is this a good deal for a 2001 Acura Integra?

My husband is coming home from deployment next week, and we sold his Jeep before he left, so he needs a new car. We don't want to spend a lot of money because he is deploying again in January, so we are looking for a cheaper, small, more fuel efficient car for him just to basically drive to and from base everyday because we have a brand new Toyota that we use for the "family" car. Back in high school he had this Acura Integra that he loved, but his parents made him get rid of it because he got a bunch of speeding tickets, but years later he still talks about how much he loved that car. So I was thinking it would be cool to have an Acura Integra here waiting for him when he gets back. But I really don't know what is a "good deal" and I don't want to ask him about it and spoil the potential surprise, nor do I want to tell the salesman that I have no clue about this, so can someone look at this listing and tell me if it seems like a decent deal?

  1. Acura Integra is a good car but

this one is priced to high, should be more like $6 to $8,000.

and the most important thing to check is your insurance rates.

some companies have started charging very high prices for these cars because the "tuners" have found this car good to race and this has led to a lot of accidents and high theft rates.

also I would recommend waiting for your Husband to get home.

yes it won't be a surprise but I think he might enjoy looking for a car rather than having you hand him one. besides it's a safer bet.
