Is this a good deal for a 2002 honda accord?

Ok so my bro has a honda accord that used to be mine and i sold it to him and b4 he sold it to me but he had a kid so i traded him my c ar for his ranger and now i have a chevy silverado but man it uses gas like crazy. $120 to fill and it only last me a week. I want to buy his car, its a 2002 honda accord, 4 door, 4 cyl ( 2.3) auto with 240,000km the only thing i have to do to it is either rebuild he tranny or buy a new/used one...how much would u say that car is worth b/c he asked me if i would pay him $3000.00 ( im in canada)...what do u think about this deal? and the car has never had any other problems..PEACE

if your bro has good maintenance records that's a very good deal

The car is worth $4000.00 trade in and $5700.00 clean retail and you will spend around $500.00 to $3000.00 on the trans depending which way you go, so with that many miles I would have to say pass.........
