They're asking £250 for it, which sounds ok (although i know very little about mopeds), but £400 for it with 12 months MOT and Tax. Surely the Mot and Tax aren't worth an extra £150?

  1. OK - so it's cost to pass an mot is £106.35

for parts, labour and VAT ! - Not knowing

what work is required - it's impossible to

make the judgement as to weather or not

£106.35 is expensive for a years mot !!

My place charges £45.00 hour labour - I'm

aware of places that charge £60.00 -

They probably did'nt pay anything for the bike

but have given it good clean up - They are in

the business of making money and know that

any vehicle with a years MOT is worth £400

to anyone - However, if you want it but without

    tax & MOT they'll sell it for £250 - Either way -

their gonna make something on it !!!!!!

It sounds like a good deal - £400 for a road

legal bike for at least a year - ask them nicely

they might even through in 3mths warrenty (lol)

  3. tax and MOT on a ped would be no more than £50 im sure of that

If it hasent got an MOT dont buy it.  Tax doesnt matter.

  4. What is an MOT? I recommend you move up to at least a 125cc. So, there is no such thing as a good deal on a 49cc toy. If it were free it still can't keep up with traffic.
