Is this a good deal for a tv?

That is a link for a tv with a dvd and speakers. It seems like a good deal to me. I know the price is good what I'd really like to know is is it a good brand and if I don't buy it now is a deal like this common enough to put it off till later?

ide say its an awesome deal, samsung is known for making high end lcd hdtv's however im not sure on how good the home theater system is, im just saying that because i have no experience with samsung home theater systems, and it does seem kinda cheap, its probably good though

My opinion is that you should go for that. I don't' know how much faith I put into the speakers but Samsung makes an excellent TV. If you have have digital cable and can receive an HD signal you will like the picture the Samsung tv produces. Hope this helps some.

I would very strongly recommend you do NOT get the bundle. It does not have a separate receiver which means all that circuitry is jammed into the DVD player box. There is poor ventilation which means it will get hot, and heat kills solid state components. For $1000 you should be able to get a very nice low end system with separate components. If you don't know much about separates I'd suggest you learn. A grand is a h**l of a lot of cash. I'd say $500 for the screen, $400 for the audio, and $100 for the DVD player. That's an impressive home theater from Samsung...

For that price, I'd buy it....
