Is this a good diet to be going on?

I'm 13, 5'5, and I"m not fat but I need to get rid of a bit of fat on my thighs.

So I'm going to do this:

breakfast: 2 croissants, one glass of water

lunch: two croissants, one granola bar, one glass of water

dinner: two croissants, one glass of milk, two granola bars

I've been doing this for a week now and exercising everyday for 2 hours and I haven't ever been hungry.

Thing is i'm not fat at all but I just really want to start looking like those supermodels it's the only change I need to make because I"m extremely smart, I get straight A's, I'm a jock, and I'm pretty popular in school.

  1. croissants are LOADED with butter.  drink more water, a lot more.16 oz a day is not even close to enough. and where is the protein?  eat more protein


  2. it's a lot of carbohydrates. make sure that you are getting enough protein, like dairy, meat...etc.. carbs are what can make you fat, so be careful with those.  

  3. You're eating really bad. Croissants aren't that good for you to begin with, and you're getting like no food or nutrients at all.

    Eat 6 meals spaced 2-3 hours apart to keep a fast metabolism which burns more calories per minute than 3 meals. No soda or fruit juices. Try to drink 8 cups of water daily.

    Get lots of fruit, vegetables, and whole grains for your carbs, no processed or unatural stuff. You need protein, eat skinless chicken or turkey breast, fish, eggs, or nuts. Get your fat from eggs, nuts, natural peanut butter, and oils. Register at http://fitday.com to keep track of macronutrients, 50% carbs, 30%protein, and 20% fat.

    Find your BMR and how many calories you're burning from exercise, then eat around 200-500 less than that. If you go below 1200, your body will eat muscle and store fat, which is the opposite of what you need.

    Don't be scared to eat a lot of food (as long as it isn't junk), as long as you are consuming less than you burn daily, you won't get fatter.
